The Dietary department is directed by qualified and experienced professionals with knowledge and understanding of the special needs of the elderly, to provide well-balanced and nutritious meals. Altogether there are five dining rooms. The menus follow a four-week cycle and are adjusted for seasonally available foods and celebrations of traditional and special events. All meals meet the requirements of the Canada Food Guide. In addition to the regular three meals a day, the home also offers in-between meal snacks and refreshments three times per day. The dietary kitchen is located on the 1st floor. All foods are prepared and cooked on site by certified cooks.

Health and Safety standards do not permit any staff or the home to handle food items brought into the home by family and friends.
